Our main business activities include site preparation, land development, road building, municipal sewer and water installations, golf course management, as well as landscape construction, design, maintenance, and renovation.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Guest Services Attendant will be the first point of contact for all customer inquiries. Based out of The Gables property in Stanley Bridge, this role will book reservations and address customer questions and concerns while working closely with all departments.
What You’ll Do
- Book reservations, answer phones, emails and in-person inquiries in a professional manner.
- Process guest folios, collect payment and issue invoice upon payment.
- Quality check units’ pre-arrival to ensure quality standards.
- Supply guests with check-in information and unit keys.
- Have knowledge of unit types and property facilities.
- Respond to all customers in a highly professional manner, including ensuring all reservations are completed accurately and to the guest's expectation.
- Identify guest issues and delegate to the appropriate manager.
- Adhere and support all safety requirements and quality standards set forth in the PEI Occupational Health and Safety General Regulations, PEI Occupational Health and Safety Act and Island Coastal’s Safety Management System.
- Use your experience to identify health and safety deficiencies and support Management in implementing solutions OR report to Management when required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- 1+ year of customer service or hospitality experience considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality considered an asset.
- A passion for delivering great customer service.
- A highly professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding administration and organizational skills.
- Intermediate computer proficiency.
- Valid drivers license and own transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
